Arsenic Trioxided (Died because Vitamin C and Shrimps)

This is the story that happened in Taiwan (I forgot about the time, because I received this messege from my friend with e-mail, and my friend didn't tell the time). And if you love your family and your friends, just tell to them about this story. This is the important messege for everyone who read this writes.

There was a woman who suddenly died with her six sense dispenses many blood (eye, ear, mouth, nose, skin and tongue). After investigated, she not die because of suicide or being murdered. But she died because of food poison, she also didn't know she would be died of poison. She has a habit of drank Vitamin C everyday. It must be didn't any problem, but why did she die?

Before she died, she ate a lot of shrimps, but it must be didn't any problem, just lobster. Her family also ate Shrimps too, but noone died. And the problem was, after she ate the lobster she drank Vitamin C. And suddenly she died.

Basically, Shrimp contains an Arsenic Pentoxide (As2O5) and when she ate shrimps, she drank Vitamin C at the same time. And something happened, in her stomach got a chemical reaction and make Arsenic Pentoxide (As2O5) became Arsenic Trioxide (As2O3) which was very poisonous, and her Heart, Liver, Kidney and Blood Vessel became defective. Her Guts removed blood, Blood Vessel was dilate until she died very dire with her six sense removed blood.

So, becareful if you eat shrimps wait until a few hours to drink Vitamin C. Don't drink it at the same time.

Amazing how misinformation can really stick and actually become information.

Definitely. A. Hoax.

You say "I don't know how to describe my self. "
I know how -- try "Sweet, but gullible and inconsiderate, ..."
Know how to use Google? A simple search on "shrimp vitamin c" will give you lots of sites that point out this is a hoax.

Arsenic Pentoxide(As2O5) is almost as toxic as Arsenic Trioxide(As2O3)! Look them up in wikipedia, will you!? This whole thing is a hoax! I believe the problem is not in Arsenic Trioxide, but is either in the shrimp itself, or in the Vitamin C(C6H8O6). Also, for information I remember there is supposed to be a chemical reaction with Arsenic Pentoxide(As2O5) and Vitamin C(C6H8O6) producing Arsenic Trioxide(As2O3), As2O5 + C6H8O6 → As2O3 + C6H8O8.

Sorry you got caught up in that hoax you are not the only one. That hoax is literally dangerous and has probably killed some people already. Here is why I say that, some people will read that and immediately stop taking vitamin C. For many who stop it won't affect their health very much. But for some people who were not so healthy that hoax will shorten their life by possibly years and some will die quickly. Here is why, human being do not produce vitamin C as most animals do and we can die if we do not get enough of it. We take vitamin C for granted but our body uses it to create collagen which is the cement that holds our body together. If you just look at the disease scurvy the extreme loss of vitamin C or death from a flu virus; what happens to the victim is physical meltdown (the liquefaction of their internal organs). So for that person whose diet is marginal and whose health is poor dropping vitamin C will kill them fairly quickly via virus or body system failure like a heart attack. Whoever put that hoax together either has a black heart or they could not see the implications of what they were doing through their ignorance.

Sincerely
Paul

The TG experiments with pure As2O5.aq reveal that the reduction reaction As2O5→As2O3+O2 does not take place at temperatures lower than 500 °C. At higher temperatures decomposition is observed. Pure As2O3, however, is already released at temperatures as low as 200 °C. This release is driven by temperature dependent vapour pressures.
